Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a quotation, booking a service, requesting attendance, or permitting works to commence, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

All services provided by The Professionals Pest Controllers are subject to these Terms and Conditions, which form part of the service agreement between the client and The Professionals Pest Controllers.

Booking & Access

Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to all treatment and inspection areas at the scheduled appointment time.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Internal treatment areas
  • Roof voids
  • Subfloor areas
  • Garages and storage areas
  • External treatment zones
  • Termite inspection points

Additional charges may apply where access is restricted, unavailable or requires a return visit.

Occupant & Pet Safety

Following treatment, all occupants, pets and other animals must vacate treated areas for a minimum of three (3) hours, or until all applied products have completely dried, whichever is longer.

Clients must follow all instructions provided by our technicians regarding treatment areas, ventilation, re-entry times and safety requirements.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring the premises are appropriately prepared prior to treatment.

The Professionals Pest Controllers does not move, dismantle, handle or rearrange furniture, appliances, personal belongings or stored goods.

Preparation of the premises and protection of personal belongings remains the responsibility of the client.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Commercial account customers approved for credit facilities must pay invoices in accordance with their agreed trading terms.

The Professionals Pest Controllers reserves the right to suspend future services where accounts remain unpaid.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of forty-eight (48) hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Late cancellations, missed appointments or properties that cannot be accessed at the scheduled time may incur a call-out or cancellation fee.

The Professionals Pest Controllers reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Pest Control Services

While every effort is made to achieve the best possible outcome, pest control treatments cannot guarantee the immediate elimination of all pest activity.

Treatment effectiveness may be influenced by:

  • Property condition
  • Hygiene and sanitation
  • Environmental conditions
  • Building construction
  • Neighbouring properties
  • Access limitations
  • Client compliance with recommendations

Recommendations provided by our technicians form part of the pest management program and should be implemented to maximise treatment effectiveness.

Rodent Monitoring & Bait Station Services

Rodent management programs may include monitoring devices, bait stations and scheduled follow-up services.

Bait stations and monitoring equipment must not be moved, tampered with, damaged or removed.

Clients are responsible for maintaining reasonable standards of sanitation, waste management and property maintenance.

Ongoing rodent activity may occur where food, water sources, harbourage or entry points remain available.

Additional treatments may be required where infestations are extensive or conditions remain favourable to rodent activity.

Termite Inspections

Termite inspections are visual inspections only and are limited to areas that are visible and accessible at the time of inspection.

Concealed, obstructed, inaccessible or restricted areas cannot be inspected and may prevent the detection of termite activity, termite damage or conditions conducive to termite attack.

A termite inspection reduces the risk of undetected termite activity but cannot guarantee that termites, termite damage or future termite activity are not present.

Regular termite inspections are recommended at intervals not exceeding twelve (12) months unless otherwise advised.

Termite Treatments & Monitoring Systems

The effectiveness of termite management systems relies on ongoing monitoring and maintenance.

Clients must maintain scheduled inspections and monitoring visits to ensure continued protection.

Failure to maintain recommended inspection intervals may affect treatment performance and any applicable warranty.

Service Effectiveness & Limitations

The effectiveness of pest management services is subject to a range of factors, including property conditions, environmental influences and client compliance with recommendations provided by our technicians.

Treatment outcomes are dependent upon:

  • Full payment of all invoices;
  • Compliance with technician recommendations;
  • Compliance with preparation and safety instructions;
  • Ongoing monitoring and inspection requirements where applicable.

Treatment effectiveness may be affected where:

  • Treatments have been altered, disturbed or interfered with;
  • Access restrictions prevented complete treatment or inspection;
  • Recommendations have not been implemented;
  • Structural, environmental or sanitation issues remain unresolved;
  • Pest activity originates from neighbouring properties or external sources;
  • Events beyond our reasonable control affect treatment outcomes.

Where ongoing pest activity is identified, additional inspections, treatments or management measures may be recommended and may incur additional charges.

Service Reports & Records

Service reports, treatment records, recommendations, invoices and related documentation may be issued electronically and retained as part of the client’s service history.

Electronic signatures, acknowledgements and service records may be relied upon as evidence of service completion.

Industry Standards

The Professionals Pest Controllers performs services in accordance with applicable legislation, product label requirements, manufacturer directions and relevant Australian pest management industry standards, including applicable AEPMA Codes of Practice.
